Scott is someone who values his relationships with friends and family within the community. He has lived throughout the Durham Region his entire life and after living in Pickering, Ajax and Whitby Shores. He has now called Brooklin home for over 5 years. So he feels a strong connection to the people and traditions of the Durham Region as well as the Whitby community. He strives to make every moment count in this great area, whether he’s working out at the gym, spending quality time with family or enjoying all that Durham has to offer.

Scott attributes his outlook as a “people person” to all the sports he played growing up. Baseball was always his focus as he loved the camaraderie and teamwork of the game, as well as the competitive spirit that drove him to be the best player he could be. Scott still can be found playing ball a couple times a week for these same reasons and has been known to share his knowledge as a coach of youth baseball teams. Lately, he’s turned his passion for another summer sport—golf—into an opportunity to give back to the community. Scott sponsors and organizes an annual tournament that raises funds and awareness for the Fontenac Youth Services charity who work towards helping children dealing with mental health issues.

Where Scott’s ability to build positive relationships really makes a difference is in his real estate career. When he was still a teenager and his family was going through their own move, he was drawn to the idea of how exciting it would be to help others buy and sell homes. “I knew that’s the career path I wanted to ultimately take in life, but it was more important for me to expand my business education first,” Scott says. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Brock University’s Goodman School of Business, all the while working for a local HVAC company and learning the finer points of customer service.

When Scott earned his real estate license and began helping others achieve their home buying and selling dreams, he knew he had found his true calling.
